MABL Presents: Preparing for Protests - Legal Observer and Know Your Rights Training by the Legal Rights Center and Minnesota’s Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild
Interested in supporting protestors and the public by using your legal expertise but not sure how? Join Legal Rights Center (LRC), Minnesota Association for Black Lawyers (MABL), and Minnesota's Chapter of National Lawyers Guild (NLG-MN) for this important two-part training on September 1, 12-3pm.

LRC Know Your Rights Trainers will be at the youth-led
CopsOutHHS march on Saturday. Trainers will be wearing bright yellow shirts and can give you a quick training on your First Amendment rights, rules around curfew, and how best to protect your rights when interacting with the police. We will have flyers with Know Your Rights information in Spanish and English to distribute, and you can also check out our Instagram (@mplslegalrightscenter) for Know Your Rights information.

That's all for this week! Follow us on Twitter (@LegalRightsCtr), Facebook, and Instagram (@mplslegalrightscenter) to stay up to date on the news we share and work we do.
