Anna Hall -- Equal Justice Works Fellow

Anna Hall (she/her/hers) joined the Legal Rights Center in 2021 as an Equal Justice Works Fellow, sponsored by Thomson Reuters and an anonymous donor. Through a combination of direct representation and data-gathering, she advocates for low-income Minnesotans subject to pretrial detention and cash bail. Anna's legal advocacy aims to support and amplify the work of grassroots organizers in the communities most affected by the criminal legal system. To that end, her work focuses on compiling quantitative and qualitative data on bail practices in Minnesota, which can help guide and empower Minnesota activists and advocates as they agitate for more just systems of accountability.

Anna graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2019. She subsequently clerked for Justice Paul C. Thissen on the Minnesota Supreme Court and Judge Paul L. Friedman on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Anna can be reached at ahall@legalrightscenter.org.
