Communications & Programs Associate
Kadra holds a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Her graduate study oriented to gender and global policy along with Human Rights. Kadra brings to the LRC a strong background in data storytelling, program development, restorative justice, youth development, social entrepreneurship, community engagement and public policy. She’s experienced in working with diverse communities with a focus on the creation of healthy relations across cultures.
In previous work, Kadra facilitated and participated in community dialogues exploring the cultural barriers and opportunities of Restorative Justice, and she provided culturally-specific school and criminal system based restorative justice services for youth and their families.
Kadra is a Metropolitan Council Equity Advisory Committee member and a CAIR-MN Advisory Board Member.
