How
You Can Help
The Legal Rights Center is very grateful for the numerous donations of
time, equipment and money we receive every year from corporations,
foundations, law firms and many, many ordinary people who wish to
support our work. These donations allow us to continue our ongoing
efforts to represent low-income people and people of color in the
criminal and juvenile justice, and restorative justice systems of
Hennepin County. Without these generous donations of
resources and time, we could not exist.
Donations
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to help us, there are a number of
possible ways:
1. Monetary
donations: Your check may be made payable to the Legal Rights
Center and mailed to us at 1611 Park Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN
55404-1683.
2. Equipment
donations: You may donate new or used office equipment, computer
equipment, office furniture, supplies, or other material that would be
useful to our work. We are sorry, but we have no need for used law
books.
3. In-kind
donations: We also appreciate and use the donation of business
services, such as printing, instruction and design work. Contact
the Administrator of the Legal Rights Center (Mark Peterson) by e-mail
at mpete@legalrightscenter.org, or call him at (612) 337-0030 extension
13 to find out whether we can make use of your donated in-kind material
or business services.

and clerks work flexible schedules of their choosing both in and out of
