The Legal Rights Center
has its own
building, located at 1611
Park Avenue South, Minneapolis,
Minnesota 55404.
Park Avenue runs north and south between downtown Minneapolis
(one block west of Chicago
Avenue
and
the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome) and Lake Street. Park
Avenue
is a one-way street going north. The Legal Rights
Center
building is the second building on the east side of the street after
you drive
north over the bridge that goes over Interstate Highway 94.

If you are
coming from
St.
Paul, take I-94 to the Eleventh Street-Grant Avenue exit, and bear to
the right
on to Grant Avenue. At the first stop light (Portland Avenue), take a
right and
follow Portland Avenue for a few blocks until you cross over I-94.
Immediately
on the other side of the bridge, take a left and then after one block
another
left on to Park
Avenue. Follow
Park Avenue
back across the I-94
bridge, and we are the second building on the right after you cross the
bridge.
If you are
coming from
the
south, take I-35W to the Eleventh Street-Grant Avenue exit, and bear to
the
right on to Grant Avenue. At the first stop light (Portland Avenue),
take a
right and follow Portland Avenue for a few blocks until you cross over
I-94.
Immediately on the other side of the bridge, take a left and then after
one
block another left on to Park Avenue.
Follow Park Avenue
back across the I-94 bridge, and we are the second building on the
right after
you cross the bridge.
If you are
coming from
the
west of Minneapolis,
take I-394 to the Sixth
Street
exit, and continue on Sixth
Street
until you reach Portland
Avenue.
At Portland Avenue,
take a right and follow Portland
Avenue
for many blocks until you cross over I-94.
Immediately on the other side of the bridge, take a left and then after
one
block another left on to Park Avenue.
Follow Park Avenue
back across the I-94 bridge, and we are the second building on the
right after
you cross the bridge.
Our building
is a
white
three-story building with "LEGAL
RIGHTS CENTER"
written on the outside near the top of the building. You will be able
to
recognize the building because it is the only building on the block
that sits
up on stilts: you can drive under the building and park (for free)
there, or
drive through to an open air free parking lot in the rear.
